I have an agent!

I’m really excited to tell you that I finally have an agent! Josh Getzler from the HSG Agency in New York has agreed to take me on as a client. He read the unfinished first draft of The Druid and, well, it must be okay since he’s going to represent me.

This is a HUGE deal. Not only because it could open up new opportunities for my career but also the fact that he sees potential in The Druid and that is a big relief. I’ve been writing my Forest Lord books for the past four years, readers knew what they were getting with each one, and they’ve done really well for me. It was a fairly comfortable situation to be in.

But this new druid series is a step into the unknown and I wasn’t sure if it would be any good. So the fact a hugely experienced agent likes what he sees is a weight off my shoulders and makes me even more excited to get book 1 finished and let you all read it!

As always I want to thank all of you who have bought, read and reviewed my books. The success of Wolf’s Head etc has led me to this point and I’m so grateful. It really is a dream come true!

PS – I returned the final copy-edited, proofread text of The Abbey of Death to Amazon Publishing last week so fingers crossed it’s out soon and Will Scaflock’s tale can be told!

PPS – Wolf’s Head is in Amazon.com’s monthly deal this month so if you still haven’t read it, now’s a good time to start…
